Welcome, Jack!

Last week we welcomed Jack, our first year Carpentry apprentice, to the Abode team!

We are extremely proud to announce that Jack will be the tenth apprentice to commence (and complete) learning their trade with the business in twenty years.

Carpenters and Joiners make up 89% of employing occupations in the Construction industry, nationally, with a whopping 122,200 employed across the country.

We consider ourselves lucky to be part of this thriving industry, and couldn’t be happier to be able to do our bit to continue to help it grow; not to mention having the opportunity to offer a career pathway to people like Jack.
